A short ride and first ever blog… 3 June 2007

Well I guess it’s about time I did one of these blog things…

What a weekend!  For a weekend with not much planned I managed to fit quite a bit in.

Saturday morning was nice and cruisy, then met up with Pete and his new shiny CBR600R… yes she’s very pretty… for a Honda!   haha…  Just went for a quick blat out to Bungendore for lunch, to celebrate his birthday and being back on the road (and no longer on the “loungechair” lol).  I am definitely starting to feel better on the bike again, so glad, mojo slowly returning!

Then off to Bowling4Difference… was a great night!  Our team was “Pink Thunder” and we all wore pink and well they all had pink balls but I had to be different and get the kwaka green one! I don’t know how we did all up… but I won the second game!  Hurrah!  LOL… was because I was sharing with Leen’s grandaughter so we got them bumper thingies… ah well it was a great night anyway… only two, that’s right TWO people rode out there… of course one of them was me… Anne and I were gonna ride out together… about 5pm she txted me to say it was too cold and she was gonna drive, did I want her to pick me up?  Hell no I say, I’m gonna bowl in leather! LOL  so I did.  Was a tad chilly on the ride home… ah well!

Then today… today I got to destroy a fence!  yeah DESTRUCTION!!!  got out there about 9am this morning with my MP3 on and the good old trusty claw hammer and belted the shit out of it. Was all over very quickly and damn it felt good :D  Did a heap of other shit too… washing/dishes/mowed the lawn/grocery shopping all the usual boring stuff that usually gets ignored!

The bike even got a bit of care and attention today, cleaned the chain, washed her and then lubied the chain… gotta make her pretty for next weekend when she gets to go play with all the other bikes
